A delicious and very frequent recipe in Cuban homes, although, as always, every master has their own little book.
It is one of those recipes that many Cuban women make to multiply bread and fish on the day when 'the chicken comes for the fish'. A flavor that transports us directly to a Cuban home.

Method
- Cut the chicken into eighths. Season with salt and pepper and add cumin to your taste.
- Reserve it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Cut the onion and pepper into julienne. Crush the garlic cloves.

CiberCuba - In the pressure cooker, put a little fat (it can be the one that solidifies on top of the homemade broth). Add the chicken pieces and let them sauté.
- Add the garlic to perfume the meat well and, finally, the onion, bay leaf, saffron and pepper. Stir well.

CiberCuba - Wash and drain the rice.
- Add the rice to the pressure cooker and mix it well with the other ingredients, using the grains to scrape the bottom.
- Cover everything with the broth, close the lid of the pressure cooker and wait for it to come to pressure.
- Lower the heat and cook for about 15 minutes. Watch the cooking, because each pressure cooker has its own characteristics.
- Remove the pressure cooker from the heat and let the rice rest for about 5 minutes, covered.

CiberCuba - Serve it hot with fried plantains, chicharritas or a tomato salad. Enjoy!
