Country style ribs are cut from the end of the pork loin or the rib section and are sold as individual portions. It is perhaps the most meaty cut when it comes to ribs. This is Chef Iván's recipe for CiberCuba Cocina.

Method
- Place the ribs in a deep and wide container.
- Add all the herbs and spices little by little: cumin, pepper, paprika, salt, oregano and dried parsley.
- Add a splash of olive oil and mix, kneading the meat well so that it is impregnated with all the flavors.
- Heat a little oil slightly in a wide pan. Before it gets very hot, add the ribs and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Turn them over with tongs and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Remove the ribs and arrange them on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 325 °F (170 °C).
- Take advantage of the fond left in the pan: add the ½ cup of water or broth, scrape well and pour that juice over the ribs on the tray.
- Cover the tray with aluminum foil and bake for 1 ½ hours at 325 °F (170 °C). Enjoy!
