The oyster cocktail is a classic consumed mainly in Cuban coastal towns. It is known throughout the country for being a very potent food, and aphrodisiac powers are attributed to it.

It has a very peculiar flavor and mouthfeel, so it is not to everyone's liking. But when well prepared with its spicy touch, it is a cocktail that awakens many sensations.
